To avoid my blog turning into a very serious blog, I am gonna stop writing about applying WHM for a while (actually no time to write T_T). Lack of pictures for the previous post, so this entry is going to be photos, photos and photos. Playing with my new camera in the tube (asked Fei to take this picture to see how slim is the camera - just like my legs...wahaha) Blue me and Red Fei in the Korean restaurant Me and my newly met friend - Mia in Garfunkels Delicious food in Spanish Restaurant - La Tasca, Oxford Street. About Working Holiday Maker - Part 2

Edit: I have to make this clear, all the information provided on this blog is written based on what I know and what I've experienced. For more accurate details, please do some research yourself. I will not hold any responsibilities towards any mistakes made herein (there might be changes right -_-. later ppl come and sue me how?). PLEASE CHECK IT OUT YOURSELF. I AM JUST SHARING WHAT I KNOW. Thank you. It's lunch time now, so I am gonna write a short entry - continue from the previous post. Before applying the WHM visa, there are many considerations to be made. 1. Why do you want to apply for this visa? For me: This is a once in a life-time experience. If I don't do it now, I will never do it and fyi, you gotta do it before you are 30. That means if you are 28, that's the last chance you can apply for the visa (plus 2 years of travelling you will be 30 by then). 2. Do you have any commitment? Car or house installments, breadwinner of the family, you are married! (if you

About Working Holiday Maker

I've checked my site meter this afternoon and realised part of the traffic were being directed from travellerspoint. Out of curiosity, I logged on to the site (have abandoned the site since I land my foot on London -_-) and find out that my blog URL is being posted in one of the forum threads *shy*. Anyway, to those who are planning to apply for working holiday maker visa - let me know if I can help in any way. BUT please don't send me a short email and asked me to tell you more about my experience. It's tough to answer you know. How to reply everything from scratch. If you wana ask about my life, best is to check out my blog - started since Nov 2007. Though it's not very interesting but definitely easier for both you and me...lol. Some Q and A. Q: How to apply WHM? visit http://www.vfs.com.my , you can get all the info there - including the application form and procedures to apply. Q: Do I need to attend any interview? Depends on your luck. Like me, sibeh no luck so I

I am back!

SORRY, my sincere apology to all my readers (if there's any). There are many reasons why my blog gone hiatus for the past 2 weeks. Let me explain one by one...lol 1) Stress at work 2) Unstable relationship - both are busy, buri wasn't feeling well and I listen to too many sad songs 3) Take up part-time job in a takeaway shop (surprise! it's a good experience plus only 2 days - 6 hours a week. So it's not too bad for me) 4) I had my menstrual last week -_- (this can be a reason okay. Losing blood is tiring -_-) 5) Lazy (I am me, being lazy is one of my attitude...lol. I know you feel like slapping me >.<) So I am back to blogging now (hopefully!) Some updates: Finally got myself a new camera after my camera pathetically loses its function because of the cold weather -_-. £98.95 = RM 633.86 1GB MP3 Player - my fake iPod shuffle ended his own life due to the cold weather this is why Sansa is here with me now. £9.99 = RM 63.99 I bought the 2 items above from Amazon.co

Pure ramblings

Working life has taken its toll on me -_-. It's like I am here to work, wtf. Totally defeated my sole purpose to be here but...when there's an opportunity I should grab it right? Plus, I get to learn new things and most importantly, the $ for me to survive. About my job, it's something similar to what I've done in Malaysia but I got to admit the technology here is more advanced. In terms of the way they sell things, it is more targetted to client's need. Anything that you request, they have it - unless it's something irrelevant la... Anyway, I should have blogged about this long time ago - I've received something from my friends again!!! This time it was from Karen and Mi3 Mi3 (yes, it's mimi again T_T, so touched can die). I got a birthday card from Karen and a postcard from Mi Mi! Don't play play, it's a postcard sent from Australia! Gosh, I miss the place so much. I will take a photo and show you guys the cards when I get my new camera -_-. I

A visit to Greenwich - Part 2

Image
Continue from Part 1: (what?! you didn't read Part 1 ??? Go read it now before you continue reading part 2! :D) After loitering around the Old Royal Naval college and taken tons of photos, we proceed to the next destination - National Maritime Museum . The museum consists of the most important holdings in the world on the history of Britain at sea comprising more than two million items (extract from wiki). So basically, it's everything about the sea -_-. Most importantly, it's free entrance...wahahahaha! A standard practice - take a photo first Some of the exhibited items. It's quite interesting at the beginning but I got bored after a while. I think I am really not a "museum person". Since we were so bored, we decided to move our way to the Royal Observatory Greenwich . One of the "Must Go" places in Greenwich. It was the first reasearch facility in Britain with scientific instruments for the research of astrology and navigations. It has now trans

Sorry ...

Sorry for the lack of updates coz - life has been tough, work have been busy, ppl have been rude, weather has been bad and lotsa has/have been demotivated me. At the end of the day, I just tell myself if I can overcome all the obstacles, I will become stronger eventually. As for the people that have been taking advantages of me or being rude to me - I believe in karma. I will still treat people around me with a sincere heart in spite of all the bad experiences I've been through because my mom told me - we might not be rich nor famous but we have a golden heart. ~People are unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered. Love them anyway. If you do good, people may accuse you of selfish motives. Do good anyway. If you are successful, you may win false friends and true enemies. Succeed anyway. The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. Honesty and transparency make you vulnerable. Be honest and transparent anyway. What you spend years building may be destroyed overn

A visit to Greenwich - Part 1

Normally weekend, we will just rot at home. Either do the laundry or sleep like there's no tomorrow. BUT this weekend, we decided not to waste our Saturday by staying at home. Hence, both me and Abi pay a visit to Greenwich (FY didn't join us as she has to meet her friends in the city). Greenwich was added to the list of World Heritage Sites in 1997 (other heritate sites in the list are The Great Wall in China, Taj Mahal in India, Great Barrier Reef in OZ, Gunung Mulu National Park in Malaysia (I only know about this through Wiki -.-) & etc etc). I would say it's a historical place that is worth a visit. To reach Greenwich, we have to take the DLR line (different from tube and similar to LRT in MY). First time taking DLR, pose for a photo first East-South London is peaceful and a better quality residential area (at least that's what we feel) compare to North London (happening but insecure). How can you don't like all the houses that are next to the Thames River
