I just realized I haven't blog anything in May, I swear it's the lazy bug that's distracting me! #lameexcuse This is going to be my final post on Laos trip (yeah ~!). After spending a few days in Luang Prabang, we boarded a bus to Vang Vieng. Vang Vieng is famous for its outdoor activities, including tubing and kayaking on Nam Song River. If you are not keen on water activities, trekking and rock-climbing in the limestone mountains are good options too.  Nam Song river where all the water activities take place.  It's beautiful especially with its limestone karst landscape.  Our dinner view. You must be wondering "what about Taiwan?" when you see the title of this post. In order not to bore you, I've decided to blog about my Laos trip before I continue with my Taiwan posts. Yes, I know I am very considerate, you're welcome :p The trip was done between 6th of January 2011 - 13th of January 2011. It was winter in Laos and also the best time to visit Laos. We started our Laos trip in Vientiane (capital of Laos), then flew to Luang Prabang the next day followed by a stopover at Vang Vieng and back to Vientiane again.  We bought our air ticket to Luang Prabang from Laos Airlines once we landed in Wattay International Airport on the first day. After that, we took a cab to the city, found our guest house and headed out for our day in Vientiane.
