Taiwan - Kenting -> CingJing Farm -> Taroko Gorge -> Hua Lien (Part 3)

Motorbike is the best vehicle to travel in Kenting especially in summer time. Riding along the seaside and feeling the sea breeze is one of the unforgettable experience I had in Kenting.

Us with the rented scooters (Laxe - the tree hugger -_-)

We were riding along the seaside

We went to the beach after a long ride under the scorching sun. It was great to be in the cooling water after sweating so much!

Dinner settled at Kenting night market
The next morning, we headed to Taichung, rented a car and drove all the way to Cingjing Farm in Nantou County. Cingjing farm is a place with cooling weather like Cameron or Genting but instead of Casino & plantation, it's famous for its farm.

CingJing Farm. The view from our hotel room. Lovely, ain't it :)?
After checking into the hotel, we rushed to CingJing Farm but we were too late -_-. So we took a detour to the Small Swiss Garden - the Taiwan's Little Switzerland. The garden was decorated in Summer theme hence the bright colors.

CingJing Farm is famous for its sheep.

Back to childhood :)

Cute and colorful decorations but Laxe said he couldn't understand why the garden is built in CingJing. But I guess the kids will definitely love it.

After spending a night in CingJing Farm, we continue our road trip to Taroko Gorge, not really my cup of tea. Mainly cause I was here 4 years ago. We had a walk, took some pictures and drove to the next destination. It was a winding road, thanks to Bin and Laxe for being the driver. I fell asleep in the car 90% of the time :p.

In fact, it was a long walk

On the way to Hua Lien
Hua Lien was where we headed next. Arrived in the evening.

I just collapsed on the bed once we stepped into the room. (Please ignore my dirty feet -.-)

Again, had dinner at the night market

One of the highlights in HuaLien and for this Taiwan trip - FIREWORKS! Didn't know what the seller said, we laughed happily or maybe the excitement of playing fireworks legally.
I have to admit I was feeling quite stressed playing fireworks. All because of this:

The right timing, synchronization, and countless tries. SO STRESSED LOR. Some more, this was only one of the words we did.
I told Laxe, I never felt so pressured in playing fireworks. One mistake, everyone has to do everything from scratch again -.-. BUT, it was an amazing experience! It was like back to school time, those crazy moments with friends :D

Okay la, got to sleep now. Stay tuned for the next post! Hopefully I can fit the remaining in one post :).

We must go beyond textbooks, go out into the bypaths and untrodden depths of the wilderness and travel and explore and tell the world the glories of our journey. ~ John Hope Franklin
