Travel Pass for DOG?

Image
One fine day, I was loitering around Arth Goldau station while waiting for the train to Milan. Arth Goldau station (Switzerland) is a small train station in a rural area - nothing to scream about. BUT, as the usual busybody, I managed to find something new (at least new to me -_-). Can you see anything special? Something that we will never see in Malaysia -_-? That's it!! Day Pass for Dogs -_-. Apparently, you have to pay for your dogs to bring them with you on the train. How much does it cost? CHF 32.00/Switzerland Francs. It's enough to pay for your weekly car petrol. BTW, CHF 32.00 = 15.92 pounds = RM 98.48. Bear in mind, it's only a day pass -_-. One last question: Does that mean the dog is entitled a seat in the train?! Any idea? ~It is not down in any map; true places never are - Herman Melville ~

I am having PMS!

Sorry, no mood to update, having PMS, can't help it. Everything seems to be wrong - people who walk slowly in front of me, the summer-like-winter weather, the list of Paris hotels that make me headache, the crowded tube, the Converse I wanted to buy no longer selling on Amazon, have to drag myself up at 6am tomorrow morning & etc etc ... Although everything go according plan ... I still can't help to be frustrated . I will be away for the long weekend, heading to Edinburgh and Loch Ness. Hopefully I can get to see the legendary lake monster -____-. Have a great weekend all! ~Anger is a killing thing: it kills the man who angers, for each rage leaves him less than he had been before - it takes something from him - Louis L'Armour~

Guess what is my favourite color?

Isn't it obvious? P.S. ETNG, I've fixed it!

Love hurts, but why are you still holding on?

This afternoon (during lunch time okay, I didn't curi malas), I was browsing through blogs and I came across a love quote on my friend's blog. "Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable." - C.S. Lewis My first response after reading the quote - "I'd choose to be vulnerable even though I know it will hurt. If my heart will be broken, so, be it then." Love hurts because there is no such thing as a perfect relationship. We fall in love, we argue, we get hurt, we patch things up or we break apart with incurable scars - be i

What to eat and drink in Barcelona ~

Image
edit: I realized it is not a short entry anymore after I completed the whole entry T_T It will be a very short entry because I didn't spend much on food and I really regret I didn't bring enough Euros. Tapas! Appetizers in Spain with 100 over varieties. Be it cold or hot dish. Usually the people in Spain will have a pint of beer and a few Tapas dishes before dinner. Go for seafood dishes and if you don't fancy seafood, they have olive and cheese as well. Sipping wine/drinking beer and eating tapas at the same time, it's a great pleasure in life;) Paella A rice dish cook in a frying pan with key ingredients such as rice, olive oil, saffron, vege, meat and seafood. From what I observed, most of the restaurants in Barcelona offer Seafood Paella. Oh, do you know that I love seafood? That's why Paella is a MUST-TRY for me in Spain. Especially squid! Therefore, I ordered the Arroz Negro Paella which is the Black squid ink rice. If you are not as adventurous as me

I was being emo the past few days after reading my old blog. 4 years ago, I had so many close friends and now ... haiz. That's why I was emo la -_-, just feel like staying at home and reminisce the past (I know I sound like an old woman but I can't help it T_T). Do you understand the feeling of looking back and realized how much you have changed throughout the few years? I was going through that process and I feel old ... -_- Okay enough craps. 1st stop of the 9-day-trip, I present you Barcelona - the second largest city in Spain. 3am in the morning. I only had 1 hour sleep. The price to pay for cheap air ticket - the earlier the cheaper -_-. That's life, things are always cheaper when there's less demand. Tadah! I was on easyjet . I am not being paid for this okay (not like I have lotsa traffic also -_-). I really think they are okay for budget airline at least there was no delay. After 2 and a half hours - I was in Spain! A Few Backpacking Tips

Image
We backpacked for 9 days and managed to learn a fair bit from our experience. I've jotted down some points that I would like to share with you guys about backpacking. I hope you find it useful! 1) Time Zone Always check the time difference before you depart. This is very important as you might miss your next flight/train ride/coach if you referred to the wrong timing! Especially when you have to travel to a few countries with different time zone. PLEASE take note of daylight saving as well! 2) Transport ( you can ignore this, if you know how to fly..ahahaha) - Transport to travel to another country: e.g. plane, train or coach If you are traveling from UK, you can check out the following sites - • http://www.easyjet.com , http://www.ryanair.com (budget airlines) • http://www.raileurope.co.uk (by rail) • http://www.nationalexpress.com/eurolines/home/hp.cfm (coach) If you find some of the tickets expensive, do consider to look for tickets that require transit, the

Edit: the blog is a bit messy now, will do something about it when I am home -_- I was there, there, there and there: So messy. I doubt you know where I went for my holidays -_-. So ... I am back to London T_T Life doesn't stop here, I still have to go to work everyday till end of Sept T_T. Before landing ... to show you which budget airline I go for..hohoho Sorry, no pics from the trip yet coz most of them are with Abi. I am still waiting for him to transfer everything to my external hard disk. We have taken more than 2,000 photos in 9 days...have to la since we spent a fortune on the trip!!! Have to take kao kao and capture all the scenes to cover back what we paid, darn kiasu I know -_-. Anyway, I've bought something for the crabs. I can't help it when I saw them in Venice. They are made from the famous Murano Glass in Venice. Extremely fragile, damn pressure to carry back to London - it doesn't end here coz I still have to bring them back to MY T_T...but for the cra

Back to London ...

after a 9-day trip that consist of 3 flights, 3 train rides and 4 hotels/hostel at 4 locations in 3 countries. One word to conclude all - EXHAUSTED! Just didn't know how much I missed London till I landed on this land again ... More updates...

Last but not least ...

I am in my most anticipated city. A place that I always want to visit. Hopefully it's as lovely as I've thought it is. Many people encourage others to get lost in all the small alleys and to take the gondola around the city. I got my first impression of this place from a music video - Gareth Gates - Anyone Of Us. The Venetian masks and costumes are so attractive =)! Two more days to go and I will be back to the capital of England and UK...yeah and the reality =( Have a great weekend!

I am in...

the Fashion City where I can find most of the famous designer brands =) But no £$£$£$£$£$ to purchase anything. Guess I will have lotsa pasta and pizza for the upcoming days. It's already Thursday, one more day to go and it will be weekend again. I hope you are already feeling the hype over the weekend. One more place to go and I will see you in London again.
