Now I know why ...

I am so down. It's the time of the month again! At least I feel better now because I know I am not having depression or some mental problems (yes, I did suspect that I am having mental issue -_-).

Btw, I've read the news about the fuel hike in Malaysia. I only have this on my mind -

"BN jiak sai la!"

41% of price hike is crazy. Have they ever considered about the consequences before they make such a big decision (maybe it's not big to them coz they just need to use their mouth to announce it!). Seriously, can you imagine the aftermath of the price rise?

I don't want to go home to experience expensive hawker food & almost doubled fuel price! The worst of all, the salary will never rise!

Don't doubt my love towards my country but can the government just stop pushing me away from my home grown land with their lack-of-consideration-decision?

The massive fuel price hike is totally unbelievable..
but having said that, it is still cheaper than a lot of place.
If only our public transport is efficient ...

Well, they take off the subsidy so that they can allocate the subsidy for food.. which I don't think is necessary because we don't have food crisis for goodness sake!

What they are doing doesn't resolve the issue of fuel price hike.. their inefficient planning is generating more issues for us to deal with. Now, not only we have food crisis in terms of price but everything that needs to be transported will feel the impact.. such as your regular groceries, imported goods and veggies. Allocating subsidy for the small businesses and lorry companies etc, does it make any difference? these people will use the opportunities to push their prices up..

And seriously, the road tax deduction for cars >2500cc and subsidy for cars <2500cc aren't gonna even good enough for the general public. Not everyone drives a Kancil or fuel-efficient cars.. Most cars on the road are sedan types so have they even consider that?

Now we need to pay extra for food, petrol and stuffs but our income remains as it is.. They are thinking as if our employers gonna raise our salary to help us >.>

I think what's happening now is we have a huge number of useless people in the ministries and because of this, the amount of good ideas is way way lesser than stupid ideas so all these ideas somehow got approved through the levels, up to high-ranking officials who, seeing that there aren't enough good ideas to present to the top officials, whilst being pressured to present "any" ideas, they presented perhaps a slightly improved version of the ideas that they think will help a certain group of people in the country. And as for those at the top, I can only imagine that they have to take some actions to tackle lots of issues that keep piling up otherwise they'd be branded as "very useless" to run the country and the opposition will trample over them. This is also partly due to the fact that a majority of us would definitely like see some actions and solutions. Thus we ended up in this current situation.

While I can't back this up with any concrete facts, I can say that based on the past election's results, our government wasn't very popular then, therefore we can deduce that their actions were not meeting the levels we wanted. And this mindset lingers on as the administration hasn't really been completely overhauled. So in my point of view, our gov has the human resources to maintain day-to-day demands but lacks the brains and leadership to take us further.

Or perhaps I've grown up in Mahathir's era that I think he has balls to do what he did that we felt there were progress. Pak Lah's team, on the other hand, has too much issues to take care of including Mahathir himself so I don't think he gave much consideration to some of the things he approved. Such as fuel price hike without prior notice to the public or a discussion with his cabinet/MPs? What was he thinking =.=?

It is my opinion that the government spends too much time worrying about their insecurity and own agendas. It's time they stop all that and start working for us. What are we paying taxes for? >.>
