Just another ordinary day ...

Image
Gosh...my blog is getting boring -.- My emotion is unstable these few days coz it is the week of the month again (if you get what I mean). Nothing much to write about coz I was working the whole day. I think I will just write whatever that's on my mind. Erm...yeah..the tube was delayed this morning. You must be thinking it's no big deal but it is quite big deal when it creates HUMAN jam. (remember I told you about tube-sardines? This is worse). There are many tube lines in London. Normally people shift tube lines to reach their working destination. For example, I live in Willesden Green. In order to go to work, I will need to take the Jubilee Line and change to the Metropolitan line at Finchley Road station. Let's refer to the tube map below: So if one of the lines got delayed it will influence the rest of the lines and you will start seeing MORE and MORE people gather at the stations. With the people from different directions gather at the main stations (like Baker Street,

BED BUGS WAR!

Sorry Elaine, I was too busy to blog about what you've requested >.<. Busy doing laundry coz Rentokil's gonna drop by tomorrow and spray our room! KILL THE BEG BUGS wtf! We have ran downstairs for like 10-20 times just to remove our clothes from the washing machine and to check out whether the dryer is ready to use. Sometimes I really doubt what others have on their mind. When we were removing people's (housemates) clothes from the washing machine (we need to use the machine), I realised they basically throw everything that's washable inside - regardless of whether the machine will ruin the clothes or not. I think bra is easily spoilt by the spinning wash machine but it seems like they don't really care? There was once when I thought I saw a quilt inside the machine and tried to pull it out. Who knows, it was actually a pillow! Someone thrown the whole freaking pillow into the washing machine and didn't even take off the pillow cover. Don't know I am b

YES YES! Today is FRIDAY!

I love weekend! Who doesn't? (erm...maybe except those who are working during weekends?) Just ended my first working week in London and finally got my contract today. As per my instinct they sent to the wrong address -.- ! The contract is like 1.5 cm thick? I am still in the midst of going through the whole thing. I stepped out of the office at 545pm today and it was freaking cold. Look at the sky ... It's not even 6pm yet! (I think it starts turning dark around 4+?) I miss the 7pm-evening in Malaysia. The best experience I had would be the summer in Australia. I remember walking joyfully at 8+ on the South Yarra streets with F.I.V.E and the sky was still bright like the day. No fear of going home in the dark and the day seemed longer. On the way to the tube station, I will pass by a Japanese restaurant ... The sushi restaurant near my work place. I always look into the restaurant and the sushis on the belt conveyor wishing one day I would be able to sit inside T_T. If I am in

A Random Post

A promise to myself - I got to update this blog as frequent as possible. BUT I am so lazy T_T Since I started working I have lost the interest to take pictures. I promise I will wake up earlier one day and take pictures of what I do in the morning before I go to the office. How do I get to the office and etc etc. Basically a record of my working day. I don't care if you are not interested..wahaha...coz I can't think of anything else to blog leh. Since I am not going out often also. Out of the topic, I have something on my mind to encourage ppl to leave comment on my blogs. Will think of the possibility and announce it here. So, stay tune ;) Sorry this is really a random post with content a bit here and there coz it's my sleeping time now T_T Goodnight. P.S. Tomorrow is FRIDAY! CANT WAIT!!

erm...gonna do this in point form coz I am tired. started working yesterday BUT I have yet to receive my contract gotta attend multiple trainings until next Friday I actually prefer to start work at 930am instead of 10am coz I can leave at 530pm I hate the crowd in the tube stations because I become part of the tube-sardines the weather is horrible and I gotta wrap like a dumpling before I leave the house still trying hard to mingle around coz it takes time to digest their accent I miss my family - papa, mama, ah boy and hao hao I miss my friends and the FOOD in Malaysia I miss buri - stopped webcaming since Sunday and love sick now couldn't sleep well bitten by the forever-living BEG BUGS AGAIN! wtf I get sore eyes easily pessimistic me thinking when my bosses will give up me when my colleagues will be irritated by my long-winded questions I might only get my salary by end of next month that means I gotta withdraw my remaining $ in my bank account to pay rent gotta pay for the tra

A young (still consider la) yet old lady

My brain is not functioning well now. I am feeling sleepy and exhausted. I guess it's a result of resting for too long (2 and a half months?) OR because I am getting older -_-? Whatever it is, it has taken its toll on me coz I am having sour shoulders and a stiff neck now -.- I have to attend multiple trainings for the upcoming weeks. Not sure if its good or bad but everything is systematically in place. Just that too many procedures tend to confuse me a bit. I hope I can adapt to the environment as soon as possible because not having things under control freaks me out. I am a typical insecure Capricorn. Sorry no pictures today coz I am too tired to capture anything and it has been raining since last night? And the same weather is gonna last until Friday according to the weather forecast! 4 rainy days in a row, how depressing it is -_-. P.S. Very demotivated la, none of my friends leave me any comment -_- at least leave a msg in the chatbox let me know you are surviving can? I admi

My Fifth Saturday in London

Image
Before I move on to blog about Saturday, I want to explain a lil about my existence in London now. Many people have been asking me what I am doing in London or what is working holiday maker (okayla, actually nobody asked but I wana blog about it, can? ). Referring to workingintheuk.gov.uk website: The working holidaymaker scheme is an arrangement where a Commonwealth citizen aged between 17 and 30 can come to the United Kingdom (UK) for an extended holiday for up to two years. You can work, but only provided this is incidental to the holiday. The holiday should be the primary reason for your stay. Hence, three 20s gave up their career and spent around 5-digit to be/get here (we use our own savings that explains my entry on More than bread and water ). Now you know why we are here? If anyone is interested about the visa application procedures please let me know. Or else I guess it will be too bored to blog it here if no one has interest. Skip and jump - yesterday we decided to go to Reg

Christmas Show Window

Today me and my cousin sis went to the busiest and most happening shopping street in Central London - Oxford Street . According to wiki: With over 300 shops, it is Europe's largest shopping street. It is so busy that you couldn't simply stop walking or else you will be pushed or banged by the people behind because everyone is walking so fast. There are many department stores at Oxford Street. Those that we have heard and seen in Malaysia like Marks and Spencer and Debenhams. Other famous stores such as House of Fraser, John Lewis and Selfridges. You can also see Top Shop, Zara, FCUK, UNIQLO (etng, do you remember the flash advert where there are a lot of jap girls dancing?), Borders and more. There are 3 Zara branches on the street alone. So you can imagine how long it is -.-. My favourite department store will be Primark because the stuffs are affordable!! The price range from £1 - £50, you can get clothes from as low as 2-3 pounds. Under the condition where you are patient en

Autumn in London

Image
Ooi was in London. Me and my cousin sister had the pleasure to guide him around. He is a wise man and we learn a lot through the conversations we had with him. It has been great meeting him in London We went to the London Zoo. We took tube and stopped at Regent's Park station. To reach the zoo we have to walk a distance as the zoo is located in Regent's Park - according to wiki: Regent's Park (officially The Regent's Park) is one of the Royal Parks of London . The view is magnificent and I can really feel Autumn here! Can you see the small kid inside the pic ^^? We finally reached the zoo entrance after a good-15 minutes-walk. However, the weather become gloomy and started to drizzle. It's freaking cold also -.- Luckily it stopped raining once we stepped out from the indoor aquaria. Hippos in the hot tub water... so warm. They are much smaller comparing to Zoo Negara's hippos. I always think hippo looks like a chinese dish called Dung Po Yuk...haha. Me and buri

More than Bread and Water

Image
Yesterday my aunt called my cousin sister. She sounded so worry and asked my cousin sister to go home -.- (Malaysia). I am just wondering if she had seen the bread-eating-and-water-drinking photo my cousin sis posted on her friendster. really eating white bread and drinking mineral water -.- erm...when we just reached London, we were trying our very best to save $ hence we only eat bread and drink water for the first few days (so drama hor). As for breakfast, it was provided by the hostel with cereals, croissants and fruit juices. Eating out is definitely expensive in London and we feel that's the area where we can save lotsa money. croissants provided by the hostel. we even "took" some for our dinner...hehe Later on, we started to cook with limited ingredients when we moved to a private studio. 1st self cooked dinner We even eat cheesecake on my cousin sister's birthday! Cheesecake from Sainsbury After we moved into the current place, we spent more on food and ingred

I like weekends~! Who doesn't? Even though I am jobless now -.- Weekend means I can stay at home and laze on the bed. The Bed Bug Story

Image
I am playing around with the blogspot features. Hoping to find ways to make my blog looks nicer though I am a tad lazy ... as usual. The story that I wana tell today is The Bed Bug Story -_-. The next day after I moved into the current place, my legs started to feel itchy. I didn't pay much attention to it coz I thought it's caused by the dirty linen (share house, wat to do). As days gone by, the itchiness spread to the other part of the body - legs, hands, waist & etc. I was so frusfrated that I decided to handwash the linen (have to pay 3.40 pounds for washing machine -crap!). That particular night I was sleeping on a bed that's without bedsheet and hoping the itchiness will go away. I woke up a few times to apply medication oil and even pray to GOD so that I can fall asleep. IT'S REALLY THAT ITCHY. BUT the next morning, I woke up with a swallon left eye! I have itchy red blotches covering both hands, legs, neck, waist and even face! Could you imagine the terror o
